ABOUT US

Welcome to Fauna Fashion! My name is Brian Kleinman and

I own Riverside Reptiles Education Center (RREC), and I'm

also the founder of a 501(c)3 called Conservation and

Education Reptiles Rescue (CERR), both of which are located

in Enfield, Connecticut. Although my passion is educating the

public about reptiles and amphibians, I love all wildlife! From

the most minuscule invertebrates to the megafauna, I find

them all equally fascinating. It has always been a goal of mine

to start a clothing company with the “hardcore naturalist” in

mind but can also be enjoyed by everyone.

Now this may surprise you, but I am not a “fashionable”

person. I own one suit, a few nice shirts, and maybe a couple

pairs of dress pants that still fit me, but I have A LOT of

T-shirts! Most of my T-shirts have designs of snakes, turtles, lizards, salamanders, frogs, and the like, but I find it extremely difficult to find a T-shirt with an accurate depiction of a specific species of animal. Most rattlesnake and cobra T-shirt designs have exaggerated fangs on a disproportionate head, frogs and geckos look cartoonish, and butterflies and bugs look like they were drawn by a sci-fi fantasy artist. My designs are accurate and artistically appealing, and each design is labeled with the animal’s scientific name in a stylish font as well. I’ve put a lot of time into each design to make sure that each species is represented well, and I’m sure that you will agree.

All proceeds from Fauna Fashion go towards supporting Riverside Reptiles Education Center. Riverside Reptiles Education Center (RREC) is a zoo dedicated to reptiles and amphibians. RREC gives visitors a special opportunity to get up close and personal with a diverse collection of 100 species of indigenous and exotic animals like snakes, lizards, alligators, turtles, and many other creatures from around the world. Our animals enjoy naturalistic enclosures, allowing for normal behavior and unique visitor observations. At RREC we are all about educating the public on the importance of these often misunderstood animals, and what we can do as a society to help secure their place in the ecosystem.
